why is trying to connect securely, failing, and then stopping there. unsecured is supposed to be allowed, and yet fails.
it should be using either, and yet uses neither.
Where is the PLEX server running? Is the device that has the server running have a static IP address and have port forwarding set to it?

currently dhcp.
port forwarding is not set.
seems irrelevant when it works fine as long as secure connections are disabled.
I have been having the same issue and have been searching for days but still no answer.
