Cannot view Photos in Plex. Library scan does nothing

Been happily using Plex for quite a while with it running on my Synology DS218+. I recently cleaned up all my photos, so deleted them from the NAS and recreated new folders.

However, when I went to add the new folders to Plex, it resolutely refuses to see them. Initially, I kept getting “your changes cannot be saved” message, so I deleted Photos library and recreated a new one which allows changes, but library scan comes up empty.

Files are definitely there (viewing fine in Synology Photos), all permissions updated and all other media types (TV, Movies, Music) are all working fine.

Running Version 1.42.2.10156 with Lifetime Plex Pass.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
