Can't Access My Plex Media Server Even Locally

I can’t Access My Plex Media Server Even locally.

Is Plex login/authentication services down?

Thanks Trump

Since Plex has services running automatically, is Plex capable of waking up system that is on STANDBY or SLEEP mode?

I have 3 serves but all for personal use and I’m the only one accessing them. Both my WD PR4100 go on standby when not being used because I can go all day not using them at all until I’m home for a short while. I have a workstation I’m running Plex Server Media on Windows 10 that goes to sleep after 25 minutes not being used. I think Plex used to waking them from sleep before even when the app is lunched remotely. No?

If Plex can wake them up, I’ll let the workstation goes to sleep after 25 minutes. I don’t really used them a lot remotely.

Thanks

The ‘magic packet’ can only be sent from within the same local subnet.
So if you want to do it from remote, you need the help of your router to do that.
I think only the better/advanced ones do support that.

I know there are scripts out there to achieve this with ‘DD-WRT’ routers or the german ‘Fritz!Box’
