Remote access won't work even from LAN, unless fired up from server PC

I have Plex set up on a windows 7 machine, 64 bits. It works fine if I activate Plex on the PC that hosts it, ie I can access it from my laptop, my apple TV or any device. But it seems that as soon as my PC goes to sleep mode, which the HDD is set not to do, Plex server does too, and nothing I do will wake it up. I have read a lot of posts and tried many things to set it up, but failed.

Any hints?

Amazing support for the app. I’m glad they keep asking for more money. On top of this, now I get the too slow server connection error, although it’s all on one LAN.
