I would suggest "/share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/PlexMediaServer/Library/Plex Media Server/Logs/Plex Media Server.log"
If I may add to MoodyBlue’s suggestion,
Please consider grabbing a ZIP of the entire Logs directory.
I just tried rebooting the QNAp before sending and it magically is now working again!
Yesterday I too updated to 1.15.1.710-ece95b3a1. Now when accessing from Web Browser (chrome, edge, MSIE) I get double entries for my server under the Status menu item. When I select either one I get this message
" No soup for you! You do not have access to this server".
When I click on the Home menu item I get this message:
“The server “undefined” is unreachable. Make sure it’s running, double check your network, and try again.”
Closing the page and/or browser window has no impact. once I have “No Soup” I cannot access Plex from the browser.
If I stop and start PMS It will be accessible again, however if I close the browser page/window the error returns.
I had been running the PMS version from the QNAP app store without these issues.
QNAP TS-328
Firmware 4.3.6.0867
Any fix for this? I am having the same problem on Unraid. Really annoying.
I am trying to reproduce this but cannot.
I have all the versions, including a couple which didn’t make the QA cut. I am always able to connect to it.
Back to basics.
I did nothing to my qnap box to correct the problem but it went away. The one thing I did was turn up another Plex server that had been offline. Its a windows based plex box. no problems since. I will retest after turning the windows plex server off and see if the issue reappears.
Well it is completely broken now. I updated to the latest build 1.15.2… this week and the PMS is no longer even in the list of servers in the web browser. Was able to reboot the box to get it to reappear in the list but on access it immediately malfunctions, will not show movies page. Shows up twice on the status icon and page, then gives me the “No Soup” message. When I do anything else it disappears from the server list. I have a Windows 10 PMS box access the media share on the QNAP server so am not totally down.
To where would you like me to send logs?
I downloaded the pmslibshare package but am unable to install it. I tried a manual install but it doesnt seem to be the correct format for that method. I have strong windows skills but very little skill with linux. Please help the ignorant.
To install PMSShare, this might help.
For another program, but same principle
Have zip of entire logs folder with a fresh “no soup” error. How do I get the file to you?
DM them to @ChuckPa
Just tried but @ChuckPa is not accepting messages at this time.
Maybe he ran out of space up here, but since he was the one requesting the files, and you with above post pinged him, I’m sure he’ll respond soon
DM sent.
@doug_w_mcclure_gmail_com I have been having the exact same trouble lately. I have servers running on windows 7 - 8 and intel Qnap.
Both windows versions had the problem, but Qnap was not affected.
Just to not, that both windows versions were at different locations, on a different ISP.
After many re-boots and frustrations it simply started working again.
I never found out what the problem was. I imagined that the problem was at Plex’s side of the setup.
Logs received. Thank you.
What I fail to understand is why the Roku accesses apparently twice for the same thing, with the same played process time. Was it paused ?

Given you see double entries and I see double entries and (perhaps most importantly) 1.15.1 was quickly superseded by 793, I urge updating to newer or rolling back to 1.14.1.5488 if you have it. This build was flawed in a few ways I wasn’t aware of.
I was running the version from the QNAP store when I brought up the box new. it was a recently released TS-328. I don’t have the bits to roll back. Is it safe to do so? I was concerned with possible updates to the database with the 1.15… versions that might pose other issues.
Can you direct me to where I can download the bits for
1.14.1.5488 ?
Version 1.15.2.793 is what is currently on the ts-328, and is the version installed when I grabbed the logs.
obtw - thnx for your help
