Trying to connect to Plex thru my QNAP after doing firmare update to version 1.20 and now I cant get anything. Worked fine before update. Can I downgrade to previous version??
With 1.20.0, you now have the ability to get the log files to present here with ease.
(One time setup)
- Open Control Panel - Shared Folders
- Open the Sharing Permissions page for PlexData
- Give your username (and/or others as desired) permission to read/write
- Save
To obtain the logs so we can see what happened with 1.20,
- Open File Station - > PlexData -> Plex Media Server
- Right-click “Logs” and “Compress(zip)”
- When complete, download to your computer (should be about 4.7 MB zipped)
- Upload the ZIP here
This is the error I get when trying to open Plex thru NAS, or when I go on Plex website and Launch it, same thing.
Ok did that, I went into File Station but I dont see Plex Data listed anywhere there
I found Plex Data using this method. Is this ok?

Do you have Plex on your Mac? ~/Library is a MacOS syntax

Ok, so what do I do to fix this? Can I downgrade the firmware from my QNAP?
I would like you to download a fresh 1.20.0 qpkg file with a different browser (just in case)

Please pay very close attention to the alerts. (Notifications).
If there are errors, they are reported.
Please let me know what occurs.
If no errors, then you most certainly do have a PlexData share.
You will find it on the same Volume PMS resides on. (in case you migrated it)

Same Problem, tried downloading file from Chrome and Firefox, same issue. For some reason when I download it from Chrome it says version 1.19.5, but still wont work
