Hi, I have a 2018 Samsung Smart TV (model UN43NU6900) and am having trouble connecting to my friend’s remote server using the Plex app (version 4.25.2). I keep getting a message saying “The server cannot be reached securely. An insecure connection may be possible. Do you want to allow insecure connections?”
I am unable to access the server even when I allow insecure connections. However, I am able to access the server and stream content on my phone and computer, so it isn’t a network issue. I am on Xfinity and have a Xfinity router but I have turned off the advanced security, which I know has also been causing issues for people, so that isn’t the issue here. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the TV app, unplugged my TV, and neither of those have fixed the problem. Has anyone found a solution to this problem? Thanks!
