Cant add media folders

Had plex working fine with old system. Had to rebuild NAS system and now plex cannot add media folders because it tells me to get plex media server. However, I already have the media server installed on a Terramaster F5-422 NAS and I launch the plex web app from the NAS, but it acts like there is no host server. I saw a thread about unclaiming server and then reclaiming, but I don’t see where I can do this.

Are you connecting to the NAS PMS from a local connection (using http://[NAS IP address]:32400/web from within the same subnet)?

Yes, and I verified the IP was correct.

Here is the solution. Had to delete the application support folder and then uninstall and reinstall Plex media server. This brought up the setup wizard and let me add the folders to the library. I wonder if there is a way to force the setup wizard to run, so you can avoid having to do a full reinstall and setup procedure?

Sounds like you previously had an instance of PMS running on that NAS, possibly using a different Pex account? In that case the described solution is a way to wipe that old association of Plex account and PMS (you could also have removed a few lines from one of the configuration files; probably preferences.xml, similar to a Linux server)
