Liftetime subscription. Based in Ireland. Trying to setup DVR. Plex sees my Vbox TV Gateway. Finds all channels. When I try to add postcode for EPG the continue button is greyed out and I cannot proceed any further.
Trying to enter D12 as postcode.
Any ideas what I can do?

I don’t think PostCode is an effective localisation mechanism in Ireland as our Eircode system is specific to addresses rather than localities. The D01-D024 (per your example in app) are only applicable in Dublin, and has now been incorporated into the National Eircode system.
The entire country gets the same Saorview EPG, so this step is pretty redundant for antenna based tuners in Ireland.
Can we get a fix on this ASAP please.
I have had plex set up for a while in Ireland. From memory it was either to put D11(space) or it was just to put D11 and have no space for the postcode and it would allow you to press the next button.
I would try it out again, but I’ve gotten it the way Iike it and don’t want to ruin it.
Tried UK and Portugal with two different tuners… not luck…
have a spin will for 1/2 and doesnt let me move on

We have a ticket open with Gracenote regarding missing Ireland lineups.
Any update on this? My HomeRun Duo is sitting idle while I have to bypass Plex setup for terrestrial channels.
The EPG search just hangs regardless of what postcode you enter at the end of the DVR creation process. I even left it overnight and came back to 0%.
The email about the new EPG data and “enhanced service” from Gracenote hit my mailbox this morning too… I’d love to be able to try it… (Live TV EPG - The update you’ve been waiting for)
As a workaround, select United Kingdom as Country, then enter the
example postcode CF31. One of the guide options is called Eire (extended)
which has most of the Saorview channels.
Has there been any update from Gracenote on this issue?
Can someone in Ireland try their post code and see if they get a valid Saorview lineup returned?
When you add a postcode the continue button is greyed out. If you select United Kingdom instead of Ireland in the previous window and a London postcode like sw1x you will be able to see Saorview, Saorsat, Eir and Virgin Media for Irish channels.
Edit: Just checked again and if you just add the first three digits of your postcode it will work. Adding my whole postcode doesn’t let you continue
Yep, I was just coming back here to say the same thing after receiving another report. It only requires what I believe you call the three character “routing key”, which is in the hint (as D01 I think) but maybe not 100% intuitive. For other systems in your country would you expect to have to type out your full Eircode for something like this?
Postcodes are relatively new here so anything that needs it would need the full code. If I was to use D01 or D15 I would get the same channels. TV is not as regional as it is in the UK.
