Cant backup Plex files on Synology NAS

I am trying to backup my entire plex library but I keep getting errors. Most times it just stop the transfer without me noticing but a few times I have gotten Operation failed.

I have also tried ziping the plex libarary but this also gives me “Error occued on /plex/Plex.zip operation failed”.

I am planing on changing my basic into SHR1 so I need to move a lot of data round. among other the Plex library.

Any tips on what to do? If i just save the DB files what would happen? What would I Lose?

I have shut down the plex server before I began on all this

sigh Yeah but I got a lot of data on watched shows movies etc…huge database. :S

The database itself I can copy…would that be of any use to me?

That would be cool

  1. Does that work on a Synology NAS?
  2. Does it save watched for all users?

My problems seems to have something to do with opensubtitles srt and SSA in the plex folder
