Hi - Rather new to Plex, but running an extensive music library on it, on a Mac (High Sierra). Mostly everything is fine, but I have an issue with a specific set of artist names. I have several albums by a band called ‘X’ and several by a different band called ‘The xx’. However, Plex has assigned ‘The xx’ to all of them as the artist name, and it seems impossible to change it - I’ve tried everything I can think of. Oddly, when I put one of the ‘X’ tracks into a playlist, it shows (correctly) as ‘X’ rather than ‘The xx’. Any help or suggestions appreciated

Same problem here. However, I’m not sure if this would be considered a bug. And if that’s the case, it would be a lower priority. The reason this might not be considered a bug, is because it’s pulling from one of several popular CD databases. Therefore, if the data is linked to an actual database (opposed to extracting the data), it could explain the reason why we can’t edit certain fields.
