Hi, I need to change my email address but I keep getting a “email already taken” error message. I realize I’m receiving this error because the email address i want to change to was used previously to set up an account that I made in error (long story)… When I first got the error message, I logged in to the account set up by mistake and had it closed out. In fact, I tried logging in and can’t as it was closed out months ago. But plex still won’t allow me to switch to that email address and it’s the last task i need to accomplish so i can close out the email account i want to change from. Hope that makes at least some sense. Thanks for any info.
You need to wait a month before you can re-use email addresses from deleted accounts.
