Can't configure Media Server on MyCloudEX2Ultra OS5

Server Version#: 1.21.1.3795
Player Version#: Version 4.47.3

I’m trying to setup the Pley Media Server on my MyCloudEX2Ultra. It will take me to the local web interface, but won’t show my NAS on there, I get the default page look.

I’ve tried to do all the steps I found on here, deleting .plist and logging off and on. Nothing helps. But the NAS is available, on the AppleTV I can see the device, but also a connection error.
The Infuse app is able to connect, but with the log in credentials of course.

How can I get the Plex Media Server run on my MyCloudEX2Ultra and configure it?

Are you sure you’re accessing the server through its local IP in order to complete the installation?
http://[MyCloud IP address]:32400/web

Yes, I do. I can access the web interface, by clicking the configure button on the apps tab on my MyCloud interface.
When I log in it shows my local IP address and asks if I’m sure I wanna connect to this non verified address.

And then I get the page above in the screenshot.

I’m a bit confused.
You mentioned you’re trying to setup the Plex Media Server vs. you can see the server in your other clients (even if it’s not accessible). Did you previously complete the setup of your PMS?!

Based on your symptoms it appears the server is linked to a different Plex account. Is that a possible root cause for this issue?
I’m not 100% sure if this procedure can be done on a MyCloud NAS … from what I remember there should be no .plist file (which confused me a bit as well  ).

It appears WD have recommended users of Plex to perform a full uninstall and to start over (there’s even a knowledge article on their homepage describing how that’s done:
