Can't connect remotely to PMS after adding second server (+setting manual ports and port forwarding)

Hello,

This week I set-up a second PMS on my second NAS.
I read in the Support Articles (Troubleshooting Remote Access) I had to set the external ports manually for each server and to forward them to the internal port (32400). So I did…

SERVER 1: DS412+

ROUTER: Netgear R7000 (with DD-WRT)

When I click “Retry” it enables remote access, but after a while remote access is disabled again…
And when it shows the server is remotely accessible, it isn’t reachable from outside the network…
Any clue why this is happening?

There are ports in the range you’re using which are reserved.

You might want to look at https://support.plex.tv/articles/201543147-what-network-ports-do-i-need-to-allow-through-my-firewall/ so you know were the obvious quicksand is

The better choices are to go into the 40,000 range

Thanks for your reply, I’ll try to change internal ports to the 40000 range.

PMS always listens internally on its set ports
