Can't Connect Securely

Server Version#: latest
Player Version#: app.plex.tv/desktop#!/settings/web/general

My plex server randomly stopped working on an nvidia shield yesterday. I come to my computer using app.plex.com and it sais cannot securely connect. I removed my server docker container, updated to the newest version and reinstalled. I was able to connect directly via .http://ip-address:32400/web but the app.plex.tv link still had the same error. The shield started working again so i didn’t think much of it cus i dont watch on my laptop anyways. This morning, I turn my tv on and plex is down again, laptop is still out of whack.
No settings on my router have been changed–ubiquity thing–and I own the router outright.

Got any recs for me on how to debug this?

have you checked if it works through http (http://app.plex.tv/desktop vs. https://app.plex.tv/desktop)?
What value have you set for your Plex Media Server under Settings > [Server Name] > Network > Secure connections?
From that settings page:

When set to “Required”, some unencrypted connections (originating from the Media Server computer) will still be allowed and apps that don’t support secure connections will not be able to connect at all.

Neither link works.
Prior to having issues, it was Required. Currently, it is Disabled and still having issues.

FML, I just set it to preferred and that fixed everything. Thank you for making me re-evaluate my decisions.
