I have always connected to my friend’s server. Then the server started acting up so he reset it. He then sent me an invite and I accepted. I still can’t access. We tried most things I think. Any advice?
Does your friend have a Plex Pass? If not, do you have a Remote Watch Pass? One or the other is required to stream remotely.
Can your friend access his own server remotely (phone on mobile net, etc.)? If not, then the problem is most likely on his end.

Using a desktop/laptop on the same network as the TV, can you access the server via a web browser? Use https://app.plex.tv/desktop/
Also…
- Power off the TV.
- Unplug the TV from AC power.
- Reboot your router (unplug for 30 seconds, then plug back in).
- Wait for the router to come back online.
- Restore power to the TV, turn it on, launch the Plex app, see what happens.
