Can't connect to LG TVs

Hey BigWheel, I have been pulling my hair out since the cert. issue and not being able to play from the LG TV Plex app, all of mine are 2020 variant TV’s (28", 32" and 42") but only 1 out of my 3 are still working for some reason. I have a QNAP TS128A NAS running PMS and it has always been fine since the Cert. issue. I have tried the unsecure connections and also tried uninstall of PMS and re-install and finally I have tried the deletion of the Cert-V2.p12 file in the Cache folder in the PMS folder then restart the PMS and it then downloads a new one. None of this has worked for me (XPLAY for LG works fine but looks pants!) Maybe your could please reset my certificate please? “Help me BigWheel your my only hope” Starwars! My server has 2 words and the start with P and then M.

@CopperBright it is reset. you probably need to restart. Do you have any VPN running or anything like that?

BigWheel, no vpn, restarted. Alas it still not working, I get an unexpected error when attempting playback from the clients on the 2 of the 3 LG TV’s. I have them wired and tried all on wifi only as well. I’m lost now… not sure what to try next.

@CopperBright can you access from https://app.plex.tv ?

Access from chromebook chrome browser is fine also from plex app on samsung galaxy s10e works fine. Only the LG app does not work on 2 TV’s comes up with the error about playback the other TV is good. I did try the link from the tv browser and it only sat at the PLEX logo… Funny as the XPLAY LG app works fine, I guess that is unsecure, having said that I have tried the unsecure method with the current clients and server as well…

Made a new topic. for you since i don’t think a cert issue with server. At least not the same as the other topic.

Which model LGs do you have? Do you know what version of Web OS that they run?

I have the same issue on two LG TV’s :
28TL510S SW Ver 06.00.10, Manufacture date Feb 2020
32LM6300 SW Ver 05.00.03 Manufacture date Sept 2020
I also have a 49UJ630V 06.00.20 and this is older than both of the others and it us still working fine, which is odd. They all run web OS below the announced required V5. mainly 4.9 or below.

And you have both of these settings set to Always ?

Can you describe your network in more detail? are both TV’s on the same wifi or ethernet same router? I only ask because some routers have a guest wifi option that can be different than the main one. Just trying to think of what other possibilities might be causing this if not the Sept 30th issue

My tv that is working is wired direct to the sky broadband uk router, the other two are connected by tplink 1200 powerline plugs then to the tv’s.

Ok so I have disconnected my powerlines and sky WiFi extender and connected direct to the sky router WiFi. All working now. Just need to figure out what one is causing it now… one by one… thanks for thd pointers.

All working now, looks like it was my powerline adapters. I took them out of secure mode and it all works fine…really odd…
