Can't connect to my server from within the network

Server Version#: Linuxserver.io version:- 1.18.2.2058-e67a4e892-ls70
Player Version#: 4.16.3
I’m completely new to OpenMediaVault and Plex so if I’m supposed to type some sort of coding somewhere, please guide me on how to get to that point

I followed Techno Dad’s video here to set up OMV5 in the beginning

Then I followed his video regarding OMV extras because he said this was an updated take regarding that

Then I tried to install Plex following this video

Now when I go to http://192.168.1.3:32400/web/index.html and log in it asks me to finish setup every time I log in. I un-select Web Shows, News, Podcasts, TIDAL and click Finish Setup.

Then I get to the Plex page. When I click “More” on the left and select my OMV server, it says “No soup for you” and tells me I don’t have access to the server.

I have been trying to figure out why with no luck. From my Windows laptop, I can go to Network and select my server. I can add and delete files no problem. I can log into OMV from my laptop. So why don’t I have access with Plex?

At one point last night, I was able to view some video files but it was telling me it couldn’t make a direct connection. But now I can’t even duplicate that so I am at a loss

If it matters, my router is an R7000 running FreshTomato in case there are any router settings I have to adjust. I am so excited for this to work but it is kicking my ass so far.

Thank you

I am running into the same issue on both FreeNAS and OMV. I wish this error was more descriptive as to what the heck it means. As far as I can tell my permissions are set correctly.

Plex Media server works fine thru a vm in freenas or on a bare metal box but not via a plugin thru OMV or FreeNas (Jails or Plugins)

I’m using pfSense with upnp enable…I haven’t had to port forward anything using the other methods.
