Can't connect to PMS - Server not reachable

Server Version#: v1.22.0.4163-d8c4875dd - Docker Docker Container x86_64 - build: linux-x86_64 debian

I get an error in Plex.tv that says: “Unable to connect to “plex.myserver.domain” securely”

I tried allowing unsecure connections but that still won’t connect to the server but instead gives the message: “The server “plex.myserver.domain” is unreachable. Make sure it’s running, double check your network, and try again.”

The server IS running - I have also tried reinstalling, reseting etc. No install errors show at all.

I spoke to support for the service I’m using and they say they see this in the logs:

Also later, saw this too:

Mar 14, 2021 16:44:22.949 [0x7f8a7a192700] ERROR - [CERT/OCSP] Error opening file ‘"/config/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Cache/OCSP/main.der"’ - No such file or directory (2)

I can also see this error from Plex.TX when I turn on logs:

“[Connections] [Loopback] is unavailable at http://127.0.0.1:32400/media/providers (Status 0)”

So I then reverted back to my old server where I’d had Plex running find, and reinstalled Plex there - and now I get the same error with that too.

Then I tried removing both Servers, totally removing and reinstalling Plex - SAME issue. It’s driving me crazy now…

Can someone please help? What’s causing this to fail and what can be done to fix?

Same issue here with server version 1.22.0.4163. Same warning about not being able to connect securely, and then it will not connect at all. Sorry this doesn’t help you, other than to confirm that this is not an isolated issue, and is likely related to this server version. Hopefully someone replies here soon. Otherwise I will reinstall a known good server version I have tucked away for when Plex breaks things. Learned that the hard way!

Same issue here with plex running on Synology 918+. updated to latest version.
I 'm checking the logs with tautuli but can’t see anything strange. even on local network it is not working.

Could it be related to some update that plex did in regard of the news of plex servers being used in DDOS attacks ?

May I see the full DEBUG logs ZIP which captures these?

It’s not possible to diagnose / repair from a single log line.

Logs will confirm whether or not the latest certificate renewal failed or succeeded.
Judging by these singular log lines, it appears something didn’t go right.
