Can't connect to server

I just reset my pw and now I can’t connect to the server. I have a Windows 7. Any suggestions?

Hey Tom, I’ve been a paying member for years. I’m currently running Plex on Windows 7 and changed my pw after receiving your email regarding the breach. Now I can’t get Plex to connect to my server. I even downloaded the software again and its still not working.

I really love Plex and hope you can assist.

There’s no need to re-download the server.
When you changed the password you probably selected the option to sign-out all devices. This includes the PMS. So in order to connect it again, you need to re-link it to your account (=reclaim it). To do this, you need to connect locally to your server (=using the machine’s local IP from within the same network); if you’re on the same machine, open http://127.0.0.1:32400/web – if you’re on a different machine, open http://[PMS IP address]:32400/web instead. Go to Settings > [Server Name] > General and click the Sign In button at the center of the page (next to the “this server is not claimed…” message).
