Hello, I am having the same problem. I can access my server from apps (desktop, IOS, and Android), but whenever I try to access the server from https://app.plex.tv, I get the “Server Name is currently unavailable”. I’ve tried multiple browsers and different computers, phones, and ipads and have had no luck.
@Keyth13 can you try going to the Web apps Debug settings and hit Restore Defaults

No luck. I Restored the defaults, closed the browser, reponed app.plex.tv and was hit with another “Server Name is unavailable”.
When you go to authorized devices at https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/devices/pms do you see your server?
Yes, I see my server.
can you access it via LocalIP:32400/web
your certificate looks fine so i don’t think you are having same issue
I can access it and its content by going to LocalIP:32400/web
I moved this to a knew topic because I don’t think it is the same thing.
Can you go to the plex data folder in it should be a caches folder can you delete or back up to desktop the cert-v2.p12 then restart your server
you might have gotten multiple notifications at once and did not see this. I created this new topic for you
Ok, thank you and sorry, I did miss the notification. Do you want me to delete the cache folder on the server or my seperate desktop computer that I am attempting to access the sever from at app.plex.tv?
not the folder, just that one file cert-v2.p12 that is in the caches folder on the computer that runs the server.
Ok, cert-v2.p12 has been deleted from the server cache folder and the plex server has been restarted.
are by any chance using a VPN on your server computer or is your server at a Datacenter or other sort of office environment?
If you use your cell phone webbrowser (with the wifi turned off) and use externalIP:32400/web (or whatever you are using for external port) can you access?
Yes, I have a VPN setup on my Server. My server is on my LAN, I have it statically to 192.168.1.12 with a Subnet mask of 255.255.255.0 and my desktop is statically set to 192.168.1.13 with the same subnet mask. I have port forwarding on my router for 32400 to my server. I have servers DNS set to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. With WiFi turned off, i am able to access my plex server through app.plex.tv.
I think there must be some sort of routing problem I can’t figure out. Your local IP of your server computer is showing as 192.168.1.69 on its record here, not 192.168.1.12. If you look at the remote access settings of your server I’m willing to bet that is what it says. And am wondering where that came from. Does it have multiple network cards?
if the computer does have multiple active network cards then make sure to select the one that has the IP you port forwarded to here.
just popped into the router and yes, the server is statically set to .69 and my desktop is .70. Not sure how i messed that up. I have only 1 NIC installed.
This confuses me. So only when on the local network it doesn’t work? If you turn off your VPN then does it work on wifi? in many VPNs you need to do port forwarding in the VPN
Possible to get your server logs ?
With the VPN turned off and attempting it on my cell phone (wifi turned on) and my desktop i now receive the following error, "app.plex.tv is unable to connect to “Server Name” securely.
