Can't connecting on https://www.plex.tv/

Hello. I had a problem after changing the Internet provider.

When connecting to the site from a PC https://www.plex.tv / the PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR error occurs

If I connect via the android TV app, I can’t even go through the authorization page.

Still I can connect to the page http://127.0.0.1:32400/web/index.html #!/
But some categories such as:
Movies and TV series;
Explore;
Music;
Are unavailable, and a message is displayed when you log in to them :

There was an unexpected error

My Internet provider has informed me that you may not be missing the ip addresses provided by them.

Did you get a new router, when you switched over to your new ISP?

No, I didn’t change my router after changing ISP.

Did you restart your router after switching ISPs? If not, do it now.

Have you ever changed the default settings inside the router, particularly which DNS server to use?

Thanks for helping.
Of course, I rebooted the router.

I did not change the router settings after changing the Internet provider.

Getting DNS from a service provider:

  • Preferred DNS Server: 109.126.2.209
  • Alternate DNS server: 109.126.2.208

Try changing that to a custom value: 8.8.8.8
(that’s Google’s public DNS service which is usually very reliable and – most importantly – doesn’t try to steer you away from your actual target)

Sorry for the wait.

But unfortunately it didn’t work.

Have you ever edited the hosts file on your server
or did you ever use a VPN software?

Did you verify that your server has precise date and time (and time zone) set?

No, I never edited the HOSTS file, no VPN.
The date and time are set correctly.

The ISP reported that your resource does not pass the IP addresses that they provide.

Sorry, I don’t understand what that is supposed to mean.

You certainly have a network adapter which has “VPN” in its name.
Jan 23, 2023 19:13:28.218 [1436] DEBUG - * 19 Radmin VPN {B085E182-9E74-4CF8-A9BB-53D8DF24E7AE} (26.25.121.124) (02-50-A8-21-E8-7D) (loopback: 0)

My ISP tried to set up a connection with you, but they did not succeed, because, as they believe that: “plex blocks the ip addresses that they assign to their users”
Yes, indeed, sorry, I completely forgot about the LAN emulator that I used. I uninstalled the program, but it did not affect the connection to plex.tv

Plex is not blocking anything, to my knowledge.
Plex doesn’t assign IP addresses to their users. This is usually done by your own ISP.

Thanks for the answer. I’ll pass it on to tech support.
Thanks a lot for your attention.

Had a similar problem yesterday. Was not able to log in or see the download-section on plex.tv.
Did you flush your local DNS after your switched to the new provider?
→ cmd
ipconfig /flushdns
