The main reason we paid for plex was so we could download subtitles easily whilst watching a film, my girlfriend is a second language speaker and often struggles understanding different accents so subtitles are a way we can enjoy an English language film together.
The problem is that when I click on subtitles it finds a bunch of different ones but then says “failed to download” no matter which one I click on. I have had this problem for multiple films and tv shows.
I tried restarting plex, restarting my computer, redownloading plex and none of these have worked. I am not very computer savvy which is one reason I use plex as it is usually very simple to use. I didn’t find an answer to my problem in other discussions (none were that recent) so I would really appreciate some help! Oh I’m using plex on my mac (which I’m also not really used to having only used PCs before.)
