I have been having issues for a while (and see on reddit people talking about it years back), where you can’t easily download subtitles. While watching a show or movie, I go into subtitles you search for the subtitles (which are easily found), but when you try to download it, it says “Uh-oh! There was an error. Something went wrong while trying to download the subtitle. Please try again later.”
The typical workaround I found was, if you wait a bit into the show or movie, like 10 min or so, it would allow you to download it, but lately this isn’t working either. Frankly even having to watch every time 10min is frustrating which can sometimes be half the episode.
Since Plex doesn’t seem to care much to fix this (considering the issue is publically known for years) what can I do to make this work? Is there any permanent workaround?
Also any ideas why Plex aren’t interested in fixing this? Subtitles are a pretty big deal.
