Can't figure out OpenPlex

Hello,

 

I'm hoping someone here can hold my hand and walk me through this.  I used to have plexconnect working on my ATV3.  Recently I discovered OpenPlex, and wanted to use it instead. I've spent the last 3 hours trying to make it happen, and am pulling out my hair.

 

I've installed openplex, updated for OSX 10.10 and am trying to follow the instructions listed:

1. Choose a theme
2. Install CLT then Pillow
3. Choose app to hijack appletv
4. Restore backup
5. Follow setup Appletv PlexConnect and Certs guide

Ok.  Problem one.  I open up theme tab, and click install on a theme. It loads, asks me for a password, and then tells me I have no certs, go to hijack.

 

I try to hijack Trailers and it tells me that plexconnect is not running.

 

I try to press "Start PlexConnect" and it says that plexconnect is not running.

 

I've already installed CLT and PIL.  I've tried backing up certs and they appear in the backup folder. I feel like I am running around in circles.  What am I supposed to do??!

 

If someone could walk me through, with baby steps, and treat me like I'm retarded, I would truly appreciate it.  Just slowly walk me through every step.  I know it is asking a lot, but I'm sure others will benefit as well.

Typical.  After effing around for another 30 minutes, I somehow stumbled upon the solution.  Of course, I'm too much of a noob to know where I went wrong/right, but it works.  Sorry to anyone looking for a solution here...
