Hi, I successfully installed Plexconnect on my Mac and I installed the certificates manually on AppleTV 3. I would now like to install Theme and Pillow manually without using openplex.
Or is there the possibility of using openplex having already installed plexconnect?

OpenPlex can be installed even though you have PlexConnect installed manually. Just stop PlexConnect from the terminal using ctrl+c then install OpenPlex. If you want to install it manually you can do this as well. Just follow this post’s instructions to install it manually:
If you do install OpenPlex be patient when installing it takes quite some time to detect the OS X version and install CLT silently (behind the scenes).

I tried to install openplex , but after starting the installation seems to have locked.

Found a lot of bugs in the previous installer here is a new one:
Sorry - doesn’t work for me neither! Been pulling my few hairs out these last few days - installer just checks out and never gets there. What am I doing wrong? I have done csrutsil, done xcode. done everything recommended. Installer never works.
Here is a work around until the installer app is fixed, run the following scripts via script editor:
After the Part1 script completes (I believe Part1 script will end with the result “”) run the ProgressLabel script over and over again (until the ProgressLabel script says “Cloning OpenPlex Complete”)
Last run Part3 (OpenPlex will display in the menubar when it has been successfully installed):
