Can't find "Log off"

I logged onto my Plex account from a shared work computer to listen to music through the web interface. However, at the end of the day I wanted to disconnect, but I couldn’t find any button “Sign/log off”

Am I just blind or is this important feature simply existent?

This wasn’t present for me. Only “Switch user.”

Plex can't log off

Ok, found it. Only the main account holder can log off. If I use another home user (I have another home user for just playing music, in case other people get to play around with it) and that user doesn’t have this option.

It seem kinda silly to have to switch user to be able to sign out, it should be available on all accounts.

Are you on as a managed user?

Yes, although I’m the server owner, I created a managed user for when other people may fuss around in my catalogue.

A Managed User isn’t “logged in” on its own. It is dependent on the admin’s login. If a managed user could log out, it would be logging the admin out, and that would affect other managed users, if any. That’s why “log out” isn’t available.

Full users (who have an account on their own email address) that you are sharing with would be able to log themselves out.

I’ts only on a player, not the server. Not sure what would be the point of having several managed users logged in at the same time in different tabs in the same browser.

I could create a full user for this use, but that wouldn’t that lose the PlexPass privileges, despite that it’s still me?
