Can't find Media on Terramaster NAS Drive Plex App

Hi All,

This is my first post so any help greatly appreciated.

Ive gone and got a Terramaster F2-422 and am happy but can’t seem to stream media stored on here, through the plex app.

I can log in with no problems but navigating through the ‘manage libraries’ part of the plex server, I can’t find any content on the NAS whatsoever although I know full well there are designated media folders.

I tried to add a different source other than my NAS i.e. my PC, and I had no issues whatsoever finding and uploading media. I have a couple of screengrabs which demonstrates the screen i reach.

I know not to look into the plex folder, but “User” “Public” and “Admin” on both of the other two options seemingly contain nothing.

Regards,

Ollie

Yes! You have to create a “shared” file on the Nas drive itself! Unless the media is in its own shareable file, you won’t be able to see it being displayed. I hope this helps, but once you’ve created a specific shareable folder, things should show up
