Fresh install plex server on new Terramaster f4-424 Nas wont see Library?

Hi All
have had an old windows server running windows home server 2012 for 12 years now and never had much of a problem until lately keeps running out of space and does get slow so decided to update and get a NAS.
went for the Terramaster f4-424 have 2 8tb drives and 2 2tb m.2s.

all went well and installed fine and plex installed fine but for the life of trying whatever i do i cant get the library to show up… just says ;library empty.

tried different combinations reinstalled plex used different users… but comes back to the same… empty.
i know its not empty on the server as i can see the folder from PC and works fine its just Plex that cant see it… it has to be a permission’s issue but i don’t know what.

even tried the new beta of TOS6 but the same…

any help or advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

I’m not real familiar with running stuff on a NAS, but I’m presuming you have your media directory already on there? Seems from seeing some videos, the media directory needs to be shared so that a container can mount it. Is it shared? Oh, is it running in a container or directly on the NAS? If it is in a container, run the cmd “mount” and see if you can see shares mounted
