When I enter the IMDB (tt#######) or TVDB (######) into the search field and making sure the year field is empty, the search returns nothing found. I just reinstalled Plex on a clean install of windows. I did try and backup and restore my media server which failed horribly, so I started over from scratch. Since the server is up and running and this is the only issue I was hopping I did not have to again start from scratch and wipe my hard drive and reinstall everything just to get plex to work properly. Any direction would be grateful.
Have you looked at the logs for errors? I have seen DNS issues cause this before. And sometimes adblocker/firewall type software.
haven’t looked at the logs. but I do not run antivirus as it causes other issues, I will look at my addblocker but didn’t have this issue prior to the rebuild, Thanks
Looks like it is something to do with the ones that are having issues are TV mini series turned into a single file but it should still pull the info from IMDB if I put in the TT code. going to move one to my TV folder and try it there

Mini series almost always belong in a TV library even if the videos are merged
