Server not finding a TV Show I added

So basically I have ripped my DVDs of “Faemino y Cansado: el orgullo del tercer mundo”. As there was no info online, I looked up in archives for the original release dates and uploaded all the info to themoviedb: https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/66574-faemino-y-cansado-el-orgullo-del-tercer-mundo

But when I search for it, Plex doesn’t find anything. Neither searching for the complete name, the first part, or the second.

So I searched in IMDb and found it: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1824407/

I updated themoviedb to reflect this new external ID, and told Plex to search for tt1824407. Plex found nothing.

I really don’t know what else to do. How can I fix this?

Edit: I used Plex for Windows instead of PMP and it found the show instantly. Strange. Still I would like to know what caused the problem.

You might need to give a little time for that metadata to actually be made available to Plex through the API offered by TheTVDb.com – this can take something between a few hours to almost a day (assuming TheTVDb.com doesn’t have a bad day :wink: )

Still. It’s happening now with the TV Series “Star Trek: Short Treks”. Plex nor PMP can’t find it, using the name or the IMDb ID tt9059594. I didn’t add this one, it’s been there for a while, still it’s not working.

Edit: Works with themoviedb, but not with thetvdb
Edit2: After matching it with themoviedb, it finds a match on thetvdb. This is getting weirder.
