I can’t find the offset option for subtitles on my LG TV app, I followed the steps in the subtitles offset article, is there an update coming for the app to allow this or is something wrong with my app?
It is in settings during playback. It only works for text based external subs. Not image or internal subs.
By text based does it only mean txt files? I am using srt subs and during playback I don’t see the offset option as your capture shows.
SRT subs are text based. basically means you can open them up in a text editor.
VOSUBs (IDX/SUB) are an example of image based subs.
Are the subs being transcoded into the video? It needs to direct play them
It does not appear to be transcoding, it appears some files are showing the option and some aren’t. Not sure why.
