Can't find server

Im on windows 10. Im physically at the machine that runs the server. I am NOT remoted. It keeps telling me it can’t find my plex server. It is running. I icon is in the tray. I keep getting a 401 Unauthorized. How is this possible on the machine itself? Why is it plex breaks every few months. it’s very frustrating. I read it could be a token issue. And someone said change the password, but then I have to tell a bunch of family to change it as well. This is less than Ideal.

If you still cannot access it using the local web app (the one which is loaded when you “Open Plex” from the task tray icon), perform this procedure: You need to reclaim your server, but don't dare to touch the Windows Registry
