Changed my password and now Plex says my "server is unreachable"

I’ve been using Plex for a number of years without any major problems. Every once and a while I would log on and see that Plex was having trouble seeing my server, but it always seemed to fix itself within a few minutes. While trying to link my Plex account to a new Apple TV, I decided to change my password. After logging back into Plex on my PC I now find that Plex cannot find my server and has been spinning for longer than normal. I’ve confirmed that the server is running in my device list, but still no connection. I’ve searched the boards for a solution, but I’ll admit I’m not very PC savy so the explanations/remedies were a bit beyond me.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try logging into the server directly serverIPaddress:32400/web…

Not sure how to actually do what you are saying.

Read this article, Why am I locked out of Server Settings and how do I get in? | Plex Support.

enter in to your browser the serversIPaddress:32400/web
example 192.168.1.15:32400/web

That will cause the server to respond with it’s local web page.

That seems to have fixed it. Thanks so much for your help!
