I had to reinstall and re-set up my media server for a few reasons, nothing hardware wise has changed. WIth the new server, my admin account can access all the files and everything like normal, but I have a bunch of managed accounts for family members and such, and I cannot grant them access to the libraries on the new server. When I go to do that, the new server simply doesn’t show up at all.
If I create a new managed account, the server shows up but is listed as having no libraries - which isn’t the case lol.
Really would like some help figuring this out, thank you.
You need to create some libraries on this server. Otherwise there is nothing to share.
I have created libraries. The admin account is simply the only one that can see them.
Please stop and restart your server. plex.tv doesn’t know that you have any libraries created.
