I have set my On deck weeks to consider set to 0 (zero) and this used to hide the section entirely, however with the latest server update 1.12.0.4829 the on deck display regardless of the setting. Is this an unintended side effect of fixing something else? Is it possible to hide this section again?

Is it displaying only new/added content or all(older) content?
I came here for the same issue. I too have on deck set to “0” and with the last update on deck now shows new and older stuff. Hopefully in the next version this can be fixed?
Perhaps you need to “reset” the setting. Try and set the weeks to say 16, save changes, then set back to 0, save changes. What happens?

I just tried your suggestion (changed to 16 weeks, saved, then back to 0, saved), and no change. Still shows On Deck with mostly newer shows (I use Plex DVR), but it also some older shows (ex Seinfeld) which have been on my Server for years untouched.

Adding my two cents, I have the same issue. I’ve tried double zeros and even negative numbers. Nothing seems to affect the existence of On Deck.
Hiding it was a wonderful feature. Please bring it back. Thank you.
I am experiencing the same problem since installing 1.12.0.4829.
On deck has been set to 0 weeks for a long time, and suddenly “on deck” is showing on the home page and won’t go away. I’ve tried setting to 1 week, saving, and going back to 0 weeks - no change.

Well, it was just a thought. Didn’t actually know if it would work or not. Seems that it doesn’t from the feedback.
dito, last update brought it back, config week 0 does no longer work. Set it back to 8, then back to 0, still there unfortunately - bugged
Thank you for reporting this. It is being looked into
Same issue
What’s the status of this? On Deck is confusing everyone in my house. It needs to go away.

100% agree. New update today actually made it worse as one of the new features is the show season premier on deck regardless of the time window setting. Just let us disable this. Keeping the interface clean and simple is why I use Plex over Kodi.
Same issue, It should have a on/off button for On Deck.
On Deck wasn’t broke originally. Then the update made it visible, no matter what you did. Now the most current update forces us to have On Deck if there is a season Premier. I just want it back like it was. Please.
The undocumented zero value for number of weeks onDeck was lost in a recent fix for ensuring that a very large value did not break onDeck. This has been raised with development
Ditto for same bug, but pleased to read it is being acknowledged and looked into. Hoping it’s “fixed” in the next release
Same here annoying on deck is back.
Looks like On Deck is fixed in v1.12.1.4885. Thanks!
I have 1.12.1.4885 and On Deck is still around, with weeks set to 0
