Can't match or fix match new movie titles

Today I am unable to match newly added moves through the plex movie agent - I get “No Matches Found.” I also tried to add the imdb direct ID (imdb-ttid#) with the same results. If I switch the media agent over to The Movie Database and try again, it can find the movie details, however, this presents issues with collection differences, actor differences, etc.

Is there a known issue with the default movie agent? I checked the plex status page and everything was green.

I’m not entirely sure what happened here, I can see that it failed to find the agent but there are no errors logged as to why.

If you could just make sure to set your agent back to the Plex Movie agent then restart the server and see if that fixes it.

I’ll add some more detailed logging to this process to try and understand what’s going on here.

Interesting. Restarting the server seems to have corrected the issue. I’m in IT and should have tried this being the first step and all.
I hadn’t seen this before.
