This is definitely a new issue, as I have always been able to selectively match a movie with a different agent when “Plex Movie” agent does not find my movie.
I tested multiple agents are still showing on my TV libraries, but not my movie libraries.
Please see both attached photos as examples of what is displaying

Those search parameters work fine on my end and I get the correct result.
Could you send me your logs so I can see if there is something else wrong. (Settings → Troubleshooting → Download Logs).

Для того чтобы при выборе у Вас было больше агентов, перейдите в настройки сервера, закладка Агенты, и там под каждое содержимое определите перечень агентов которые Вы считает для Вас более привлекательными и которые более точнее определяют название медиа.
Ниже пример моего выбора для этого агента.
I have since found that plex movie is picking up an entry from either imdb or tmdb.
Imdb entry does not have artwork.
Tmdb has artwork attached
I’ve tried searching on “tmdb 801264” as well as setting on filename, and still does not pick up all expected metadata

It looks like you’ve only updated this information today: Vagabong: The American Pipe Dream (2017) - Changes — The Movie Database (TMDb)
You’ll have to give it a day or two for our metadata servers to pick up changes.
Just match it to the one that returns in the Fix Match results:
Once the changes updates you made to TMDB come through you can just refresh metadata and it will get the missing info and images.

Is this what is happening in the MUSIC libraries as well? You used to be able to select the agent you wanted to use, in my case Personal Media for various artist albums, but now only PLEX MUSIC shows. If I don’t want to use that data, will it save as UNMATCHED or will I always have to keep fixing my library?
When I do manual searches I use a term in the form of tt801264

together with the missing agents, there is also missing matching with “personal media”.
Is this going to appear again at some point?
“Unmatch” does the same thing.
However, with the Plex Movie agent using the old Match to Personal Media as well as Unmatch didn’t do what they were supposed to. This is fixed in the next release (1.22.0) so Unmatch will do what you want then.

Right now my media is already “unmatched”, the issue is that when i edit the info of the media (names, release dates, etc… ) it will disappear after few moment, unless i match it to “personal media”.

That is why i’m using that option, cause the media keeps changing if the file stays unmatched.
Is this also fixed in the new incoming version?
EDIT: i just downgraded to 1.21.3.4046 again and “personal media” match is back.
Unless the issue with unmatched metadata disappearing is sorted out, I need this option, cause all my “personal media” keeps losing all the metadata without it. So for the moment i’m sticking with 1.21.3.4046

So, is the answer that we cannot manually select “the movie database” for when plex movie doesn’t find the movie (such as American Liars 2021 right now) and also doesn’t find the movie poster, which happens all the time, such as right now with the Bisping documentary? I usually fell back on TMDB to match and grab the artwork when the plex agent didn’t get it, which happens a bit. or is this something being fixed and I didn’t catch that in this post.
If you want to match to a TMDB title make sure you’re running the latest server version then you can just use the id prefixed with tmdb in the search title.

And quite the convoluted way to do it. Is it going to be staying that way? And you were dead straight on picking up the typo, but no mention of the often missed posters not loading? Eh, tmdb-808159-bisping, or without the word bisping finds nothing anyway
