Cant play files by Plex Web App (Conversion failed. The transcoder exited due to an error)

Hello guys, i recently installed plex docker container (lsioarmhf/plex) on my odroid HC2 (OpenMediaVault4).
Before i used the docker image, i used the OMV plex plugin and everything worked fine, but its a bit outdated and decrepated i think, so switched to docker.

Playback via my Plex for LG App on LG TV and via Android App is working fine.
But i cant play my stuff anymore via the Web App, doesnt matter on what browser or what device.

i think i also already found the problem, but i dont know what to do about it.
if anyone has an idea or wants some more logs pls tell. every help appreciated. i really dont know what to do, dont want to return to the months old plugin.

x265/HEVC also fails btw.

Where did you get the package to install in docker I tried the one suggested by OMV and it doesn’t run on an ARM processor. I am no expert so I am not sure I will try anyay based on your problem with it.

lsioarmhf/plex from dockerhub. Use the latest-tag. Docker will pull the latest arm image then.

Hi,

I am also facing the same problem on my Plex server on OMV installed on odroid-HC2. I am not able to play my video on Web browser. Look like it’s a transcoding issue. I installed Emby media server on my OMV and I am able to play the video on web browser. From last couple of weeks I am searching the internet and forums I tried multiple settings. but no luck.
Does anyone has any idea on how to fix this issue?

I fixed the issue by mounting the volume without noexec.
