Can't play movies on my LG smart TV

I have been trying for some time now to view my films via Plex on my LG smart TV.

The following is the case:
The Plex media server runs and can be accessed via my laptop “ip address”: 32400
Everything works perfectly normal here, I can watch my films normally.
Also on my android phone it is possible to play the films via the android plex app.

Now here comes the problem.
On my LG smart TV I see all the movies in the Film Library.
I can select the films and view all the information.
However, if I want to start the film I get the following message after a while:
“The video did not start playing in time”

This is what happens with all my films except for one (.AVI).

All my films are .AVI files and I have converted some movies with Any Video Converter to .MP4 and .MKV to see if it would work, unfortunately no result.

Someone with a possible solution ???

Please try to limit server activity to just the test to produce the evidence for your problem and please restart the server before trying to playback so that fresh logs are produced. Please note that the plex app logging needs to be enabled every time the app is started

And please give indication of time of failure and what the error was

If your problems started after recent update to the plex for tv app then it is possible you are encountering the issues with direct play for avi files which may now be failing on direct play
