Some Movies will not play on LG Start TV Plex App

I went to watch a movie on my LG Smart TV with the Plex app that I have watched before from my Synology server. The Plex app opens the title page with all the information about the synopsis and the cast. When I click “Play”, all I get is the rotating circle for about 90-120 seconds, then a generic error. The Synology server statistics shows high network activity and high disk activity. The same movie plays just fine on the Plex app on my iPhone as well as the Plex Web app.

A different movie plays fine on the LG Smart TV with minimal disk and network activity (intermittent spikes to fill buffers).

I checked settings on the app and the Plex server. All appear OK - nothing has changed.

Appreciate some guidance here.
