I can’t play video’s on my smart tv. Playing music does work well.
On my mobile phones with plex app, computers with app and through web and tablet it works.
This problems starts after updating Plex Server to version 1.4.3.2400
Today I updated to version 1.4.3.3433, and the problem still exsists.
My server is running Windows 2012R2 x64 with correct configged fireall (it’s off) 
My smart TV is a LG 42LF580V-ZA (with latest software 03.11.30)
Plex App on LG TV is version 2.13.3
I’ve tried many settings on server and smart tv, with no results.
All other devises (windows and android mobiels and tablets, and pc apps and through web interface chrome and explorer) working fine and plays music and movies with no problems. Also playing through Chromacast is without problems.
Just the Plex App for smart TV is only playing music fine, video playing just for 3 seconds and than back in main screen.
Looks like the problem is still there in the plexserver ? !
I am also having this issue, which started after upgrading my server to the latest version as of yesterday (9th March 2017).
It’s not all videos, but I haven’t narrowed it down to a particular file or codec format. Forcing XCODE or various other audio setting changes on the TV do not make a difference.
As with others, all other devices work fine (Android, IOS, Win10).
Any help appreciated!
I’m not sure if this is related… while watching a movie or tv show stored on my plex server, my LG Smart TV will at random intervals stop the viewing and return to the episode list. It does not store the progress withing the episode in which it terminated. One must manually hunt through the episode to where it randomly terminated. Has only been happening the last few weeks… very annoying. Any suggestions?

I’m experiencing the same issue! Can’t watch video via Plex on LG TV but music works just fine. Can watch video on other devices. All since updating Plex on my readynas.

Same porblem My LGTV LM760S was working fine after update my plex server. When i enter the app provided by LG on ( powered by PLEX it says) unable to see my server. after starting a search it identify but not able to connect. Please Help…
