Cant play videos on your own server - Fernseh-Pass subscription needed

What the hell is that?
I cant even play files on my own server without a subscription anymore via web interface?

If the server is not within the local network, you either need a “Remote Watch Pass” for yourself, or the server owner needs a full Plex Pass.

If this is about your own server, which is within your local network, there might be some things to check so that the playback is not erroneously detected as “remote”:

With every update this software gets worse and worse.

Seems like this is a problem with nginx as reverse proxy in front of plex.
If i visit the plex server directl 192.168.2.xxx:32400/web/ it works.

How do i need to configure nginx to get this working again?

Unfortunately I cannot tell you. If it works without the proxy, why do you need it?

Because i dont want to to type every time the full URL.
There is no automatic redirect. to /web/index.html

Make a bookmark, either in your browser or on your desktop.
Or use the hosted web app. It’s the recommended one anyway.

I say it again.

I dont want app that tells me how to use it.
I want it to use it my way, without restrictions and useless updates where i have to pay for thing that where free.

I want to use plex 100% local, without any external services/internet connection.
What is so hard to understand?

You cannot. Plex requires internet connectivity to operate.
