Cant reach media server

Server Version#: 1.3.1.916-1cb2c34d
Player Version#: Panasonic viera

Ive installed on my imac and downloaded app to panasonic tv. gone through the registration of tv and my account can see all devices. Yet my tv just shows cant reach media server.
Ive checked there are no proxies, etc, i even turned off my imac firewall but still the same.
Please can anyone help?

Hello sir.
For the Mac, there are a few apps that Plex makes:

Server
Plex Media Server - 1.18.0.1944

Players
Plex for Mac - 1.3.1.916
Plex Media Player - 2.44.0 (which can be found here: Plex Media Player)

Soooo we need to know if you installed the server on your Mac?
If you did, then which of these URLs works and which doesn’t?

Hi Nibbles, and thanks for your reply.
Ive clicked each of the 3 links and the only one that works is https://app.plex.tv/desktop.
After that I opened the plex osx app (Version 1.3.1.916-1cb2c34d) i had installed before which launch OK.
I also logged into the desktop link and installed the media server app. which i think was the problem.
I have setup and its scanning my drive so all looks good!
