Can't reclaim server

I’m a little freaked out. I have two servers (tintin and majestic). Majestic is the newest. I accidently logged into tintin last night and now I can’t get back to majestic. I’ve searched the internet, and I’ve attempted to search this forum, but I can’t find a solution for getting back to majestic. Can anyone help me reclaim my server?

FYI, I’ve logged in with the plex web app and as 127.0.0.1. I’ve attempted to login from other computers.

You are not logging into servers.
You are logging into your plex.tv user account.
A plex.tv user account can have more than one server attached to it. Once logged in, you can access, use, and administrate all your servers at once.

It appears that you have removed Majestic from your user account.
Start it up again, to see if you can recover it.

Maybe explain some more about your setup.
Where are those servers installed? Are they on the same machine?
Was Majestic “cloned” from a copy of the tintin server data?

Two separate instances of Plex, each on it’s own machine. I don’t think I removed Majestic. If memory serves me, I was on tintin and looking in the settings. I saw both tintin and majestic in the settings and I chose tintin. Next thing I know, I’m logged out of majestic on all machines with only access to tintin.

I have logged out of my Plex account, but when I log back in, I only have access to tintin. I need to regain access to majestic and then decommission tintin so this does not happen again.

Oh, and majestic was not cloned, it was a brand-new set up of Plex

If you login to app.plex.com, goto settings, on the navigation on the left you should see your server name, clicking it should present a drop down list to swap between servers.

I’ve done that and there is no option to switch servers.

OK, something weird is going on. I logged back into majestic, and I could still only see the instance of tintin.

On all machines and players, I logged out of Plex. I logged back into Plex on majestic and the instance of majestic was back. I checked a couple of other machines and the instance of majestic was back. I don’t know what happened, but I’m no longer freaking out. Weird day.

How do I decommission tintin so that this does not happen again?

If you can see Tintin in the settings drop down you can remove it there, if it’s not running and in the drop down I’m not sure you can remove it.

As I stated above, you are not logging into a specific server. Please forget this concept, it won’t do you any good.

I know what you meant. I guess I should have said that I logged into my Plex account on the server majestic. In the end, I’m not sure what was going on, but I’m relieved that it’s back to where it should be…
