I just updated my server computer with new hardware and did a clean install of Plex server. I discovered that when using the DVR function that the tv show would immediately fault out. While looking at the TV show on the DVR schedule, a yellow triangle with an exclamation point pops up saying “No write access to destination”. Also I can’t delete any existing media that I previously recorded on my old setup. So currently I can view my previously recorded media and watch live TV but can’t record TV shows or delete media. I have reviewed alot of the postings concerning an across the board issue of not being able to view any media which doesn’t seem to apply in my situation. I have uploaded the debug file for one of the occurrences of the DVR issue.

Be sure to review all points mentioning “permission”:
Keep in mind that a library which shall be recorded into, needs at least one of its folders to be “writable” by the Plex server user account.
Do also verify that the folder location which has been set as “transcoder temporary folder” is writable by the Plex server user account, and is mounted without the noexec flag.
