Every time I try to update my Plex Media Server, it disables ability to record new content from HD HomeRun antenna. If I revert to old version, it works (versionPlexMediaServer-1.30.0.6442-5070ad484-x86_64). I get “No write access to destination” error message. This has been a problem for about three months.
The release notes for 1.32.2.7002 have a fix for “(DVR) Recordings fail with permission error (#14265)”. I can’t find any links to the specific issue threads that this is supposed to address, but perhaps it is worth a try for you?
Thanks for the reply, however, I updated my server again and still getting the same “No write access to destination” message. So, back to reinstalling the older server version.
It would require you to upgrade, test, and then downgrade, but would you be able to provide debug level server logs capturing the error? (Please make sure debug is checked, and verbose is off.) Perhaps there will be details that will help the Plex team understand what is happening and how to address…
I finally got a chance to try your latest suggestion, but, when I updated the recent plex server, the problem is now resolved, so thank you for your time, but seems to have corrected with recent update as of today.
