I set up my antenna TV tuner hooked up to an NVIDIA Shield Pro with a Plex Media Server. All works fine on the TV directly attached to the Shield. I can also see the antenna TV on my phone and web app. However, my Sony TV with Android TV can only see that the Live TV & DVR is there in the side bar. When I select Live TV and DVR on that TV it says No Items to Display. The directory appears to be empty.
Remote Access on the Settings of the web app says my servers isn’t available outside of my network but both TVs are on the same WiFi network. I also can’t cast Live TV from the antenna tuner (via my iPhone) to the Sony TV and receive an Error h4 message (not supported) on the TV.
Reproduce the problem - note down the time and if possible take a photo of the screen and then fetch the Plex for Android logs as per the article and copy all the displayed log to a text file and save it and then download the server logs - see https://support.plex.tv/articles/200250417-plex-media-server-log-files/ and attach the two sets of logs and photo and time when the issue was reproduced
The Sony TV, which was where I couldn’t see any Live TV & DVR content, was already running the latest version of Plex. I updated the Shield version of Plex. Now Live TV & DVR doesn’t work on the Shield anymore. I can still access Live TV & DVR on my iPhone. I’ve uploaded the log files and an image of what I see on the Sony TV (Android TV).
However, now it would seem I have a different issue since the Plex Sever can no longer find the Happauge WinTV-dual Tuner.
I can see a refresh guide manually started at 09:52:14

Did you not start a refresh through Server / Settings / Live TV and DVR at 09:52?
Would need to know what time that screenshot was taken so i can see the request coming in to the server - and you have not included logs from the Plex for Android app
If the app still does not display the Live TV & DVR grid after completion of the EPG Refresh, then would need fresh screenshot/photo, the exact time of that photo and also the Plex for Android app log as well as the server log. See my earlier post about the android app log
I also notice that you are still running the old version of the Plex Media Server app - v1.18.0.1913-e5cc93306
The current public release should be 1.19.5 and the current beta 1.20.1
Hi, thank you again for the help. Happily, I won’t need to take any more of your time. It took me a bit of time to figure out how to update the Plex server app on the Shield but once I did that and logged out and back in on all my devices, all works fine.
To update the server on Shield, go to the Google Play Store on Shield. Search for Plex Server. You’ll see the app and then just install like any other app.
Log out of Plex and then log back in. That should do it.
Do you have an external hard drive hooked up to your Shield? If you do, check to make sure your Shield is using it as the storage device and not its internal storage.
