Sometimes Live TV & DVR is not displayed as selectable on my Android TV client. The option sometime is not there at all. A reboot will sometimes fix the issue. I’ve had to reboot multiple time to fix before.
I’ve had several times when it “loses pin” but I can go and re-add it. But sometime it just doesn’t show up at all…even when I verify the DVR is currently recording via the web client and I can select live TV on another client.
As a side note which I’m guessing is somewhat related…a few PMS versions ago this seemed rock solid…and before that, in the 1.14 ish days it was very flaky like it is now. Also, Live TV & DVR hasn’t worked for me for several Plex for windows versions well now. Version 1.3 the Live TV guide will not even display. On 1.4.0.924 Live TV will play, but it’s super slow to start playing live TV, and when you exit out of live TV the tuner stays “captured” by the server.
