Can't see music library on QNAP NAS

Server Version 1.30.0:
Player Version#:

I am running PLEX server on a QNAP and had no issues until I tried to access Plex on my iPhone yesterday and couldn’t find any libraries. I opened Plex web from the QNAP and can’t see any libraries there either (only have music installed BTW). When I click on the settings icon on the RHS on the webpage (running Firefox), I don’t the SETTINGS/MANAGE etc headings on the LHS of the webpage. Here is a screenshot:

I am just baffled about what is going on … I see the same webpage in Chrome so am wondering if there is an issue with the Plex set-up on QNAP? Couldn’t see any options there other than to remove and reinstall Plex. All suggestions gratefully received - thanks!

Did you by chance reset your Plex account password and opt to sign out all devices?
This will also sign out the server and you will need to re-claim it.

Hi
not sure … I checked here to see how to reclaim a server:
How to Claim Your Plex Server - Plexopedia but I don’t see the “claim server” button on the Plex web page. Here is a screenshot of my “General” window

I did set two factor authorization for Plex (I think it was on the QNAP) but I never seem to need this for Plex web.

Are you using the QNAP‘s local ip address to access your server?
e.g. http://[QNAP IP address]:32400/web

Hi @tom80H
yes, the address in the bar of the web server is eg. http://192.168.0.x:32400/web/index.html#!/

The IP address of my NAS box is 192.168.0.x

Alun

Looks like this issue was with my NAS and not with Plex …. I uninstalled Plex from the NAS and then tried to reinstall it but could not download the install file from the web to my NAS. My NAS back-ups had also stopped so I shut-down the NAS and restarted it. I was now able to reinstall Plex (and rebuild the library) and everything now seems to work - don’t know why I didn’t think “to turn it off and turn it on again” at the start …
